Launch date for new book Energy Crises.
November 2020
Guest lecturer on U.S. energy policy for the Political Science Department at the University of New Orleans. Also participated in UNO series on the presidential election, broadcast via Zoom to the University of Innsbruck in Austria. Great to be “back in the classroom,” even if communications with students are limited to the internet.
January 2020
Contract signed with Oklahoma University Press for book on the energy crises of the 1970s. The pandemic that struck in March curtailed travel and created the new world of lectures and meeting by Zoom. On the bright side, being at home allowed more time to finetune the manuscript and work with the great people at OUP.

Published article “Challenges for Climate Candidates and Climate Voters” on the website Real Clear Energy – the fourth of the year in RCE providing some historical perspective on current issues.
